Associate - Fund Management Support

Duties and Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Client Services, this executive will support our portfolio managers in portfolio management, trade execution, and reconciliation with partner banks/brokers/accountants. His/her responsibilities include:

  • Helping to process onboarding, subscription and redemption requests, including liaising with investors for due diligence checks and documentation
  • Working with business support providers to process transactions and deliver investors’ requirements efficiently and responsibly
  • Making follow-up investor calls and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Helping to maintain investor records as well as a record of trades and settlement, funding, and reconciliation
  • Assisting the company in meeting tax reporting and audit requirements, as well as in fund administration and NAV reconciliation
  • Assisting with preparation of marketing collaterals as part of investor relations activities
  • Supporting administrative and enhancement projects as assigned from time to time

 

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies

The candidate should ideally possess:

  • A highly developed and keen sense of teamwork
  • Ability to understand issues and appropriately escalate to Management in a timely fashion
  • A dynamic, detail-oriented approach and ability to work under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Relevant academic or professional experience (accounting, fund accounting, fund administration, or private banking)

Intern – Business Development

Duties and Responsibilities

The candidate will be expected to coordinate and support the execution of all partnerships and marketing communications-related activities of Paragon Capital Management. The role involves event support, content development, creative visual design, and videography, as well as the implementation of effective digital marketing strategies to build brand awareness and foster active stakeholders’ engagement. His/her responsibilities include:

  • Execute marketing strategies to drive engagement with various stakeholder groups
  • Conduct channel and content strategy analysis (Google Analytics monitoring) to assess effectiveness
  • Research and production of native content in the form of infographics, videos, short blogs, and others
  • Source for speaking engagements and commentary opportunities based on key spokesperson profiles
  • Video filming and post-production editing, corporate collateral design, and events production
  • Manage and update contacts list or CRM system
  • Support any special projects as required

 

Skills, Knowledge and Competencies

The candidate should ideally possess:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Illustrator and Photoshop; knowledge of other graphic and video editing software is an added advantage
  • Good design, photography, and videography skills are an added advantage
  • Familiarity with the latest popular social media platforms
  • Professional qualification(s) in design/visual arts, digital marketing, and/or equivalent programs will be an added advantage
  • Fast learner, meticulous, with a keen eye for aesthetics and details
  • Positive attitude with a professional drive and team spirit
  • Resourceful and possesses strong analytical skills
